Clockwork Atlas and the Weight of Time

I was commissioned to create a video mural for the video wall in the lobby of Viacom’s Times Square headquarters. The mural is a patchwork of short looping vignettes inspired by deco murals of midtown Manhattan. Figures from Greek mythology struggle endlessly to propel the machines of modern life, a tireless game of cosmic volleyball turns the gears of a factory, an alien ship mines isocohedrons from the steppes of snow capped peaks, while cybernetic jellyfish, unaware of their impending doom, circle the waters below.

Inspired by the deco murals which adorn Manhattan’s classic buildings, and explorations in low-poly design which I was engaged with during that period. I created all visuals and the sound design.
